ABINGDON Town saviour and for mer chairman Brian Kirk has been appointed head of football at their Hellenic One East rivals Milton United.
Kirk, 65, saved Abingdon from collapse when he arrived in 2018, even investing his own money in the club to prevent it from being closed.
Also acting as Town’s secretary, match secretary and discipline secretary, Kirk, who played for the club in the 1970s, quit all the roles several weeks ago. Abingdon lay at the foot of the table when the season was declared null and void.
