GEORGE TO STAY AT THE STONES

FORMER Premier League ace George Elokobi has extended his stay at Maidstone United - and will also help coach at the club’s academy.
The 34-year-old defender made his name playing for Wolves between 2008 and 2012 and joined the Stones from Aldershot Town last summer, making 38 appearances in his debut season.
Now the Cameroonian - who is also the club captain - has agreed to help the club’s push for promotion to the National League next season, under boss Hakan Heyrettin.
