WICKERS IN DROP MYSTERY

MYSTERY surrounds a claim by Southwick that the FA have relegated them two divisions from the Southern Combination’s top flight.
A statement issued by the Wickers on Thursday said: “The club have been informed that we have been removed out of the National League System and we have been dropped two divisions into the Mid-Sussex Football League due to the previous owner’s debt.
“This has come as a total shock to the club. Everyone at the club is devastated as it is completely out of our hands.”
