CHAMPIONSHIP winner Patrick Bamford has returned to the club where he played at the age of six to become its honorary president.
The Leeds United striker, 26, agreed to take on the role at Central Midlands League North Division outfit Newark Town, who described him as “an influential role model for our youngsters.”
A Town statement added: “The club are immensely proud.”
