Charlie’s spot on as Rebels roar back

FC UNITED got their pre-season off to a fine start with victory at Eccleshill United in the Bradford sunshine.
Eccleshill got off to a dream start. On two minutes, skipper Aran Basi fired in an unstoppable free-kick. Regan Linney capitalised on a defensive error to level on 29 minutes, coolly slotting the ball past keeper Brad Emmerson.
FC United’s Charlie Ennis converted from the penalty spot to put his side ahead on 51 minutes.
The Reds hit the post three times before captain Michael Potts smashed into the top corner from distance.
