GULLS IN SWOOP FOR TRIO

CANVEY ISLAND have been no strangers to welcoming new arrivals this summer - now they’ve got three more recruits.
First, the Isthmian North Gulls landed midfielder Jamie Salmon, from Hullbridge Sports, after having previously served at Steps 4 and 5 with the likes of Bowers & Pitsea and Saffron Walden Town.
They followed that up with the signing of former Hullbridge, Thurrock, Witham Town and Aveley goalkeeper Bobby Mason, who arrives from Great Wakering Rovers.
And they completed the hat-trick with the arrival of forward Louis Hunt, who spent 2018-19 at league rivals Witham.
