‘STIFFEN LAWS UP NOW OR EXPECT TRAGEDY’

REFEREES’ Association chairman Paul Field has warned a match official will eventually be killed if stricter punishments aren’t handed out to those who abuse them after an amateur referee was attacked and left bleeding last Sunday.
Satyam Toki, 28, suffered cuts to his face having been punched three times by a Sunday League player during a friendly in west London.
