Bell fancies slice of forbidden fruit

IT’S been quite some journey for Consett chairman Frank Bell. Just under a decade ago, he announced grand plans to open up the club to the community and set them on course to progress up the Non-League pyramid.
Their Belle View home is now a hub of activity throughout all seven days of the week and things are progressing quickly on the pitch too.
