SHAUN CALLS IT A DAY AT HEATH

SHAUN Saunders has decided to step away as manager of Isthmian South East side Haywards Heath Town, saying that he ‘needs a breather’.
After five successful years at the West Sussex club, the former Peacehaven and Telscombe boss has handed over the reins to recently appointed joint-boss Lloyd Cotton.
Saunders arrived at Hanbury Park with the Blues in the Southern Combination Division One, which they won in his first year. They followed that with winning the Premier Division, not once but twice. A points deduction prevented them being promoted the first time.
