MARINE’S trusty group of volunteers have been getting on the front foot – by painting nearly 600 footprints on the terraces.
The working group spent five-and-a-half hours putting the yellow stencils around the Marine Travel Arena to help social distancing for supporters.
The Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One North West outfit have painted the footprints in groups of six and two, and spaced them two metres apart as required by Sefton Council.
Neil Young’s Marine took on Tadcaster Albion yesterday following their 2-0 midweek win over Widnes.
