CLUBS CALL FOR FUNDING REVIEW

Board to discuss dispute

THE NATIONAL League board will meet this week to discuss the distribution of the Government’s £10 million grant after 11 clubs called for a review.
The rescue package, which is being channelled through the National Lottery, allowed the season at Steps 1 and 2 to begin behind closed doors in October and covers the first three months of the campaign.
The 66 member clubs received their first payment on Friday after the National League revealed how the money would be split.
