RESTARTS TO VARY ACROSS STEPS 5-6

MORE Step 5 leagues are set to restart on different dates following the potential end of the second lockdown on December 2.
The Combined Counties League has voted against representations by three member clubs that the programme should not recommence until Saturday, December 12, in order to give players another week to prepare more fully by either training or playing friendly matches.
The league’s management decided that such a move would worsen the coming fixture pile-up, especially if there is a third lockdown.
