■ IMPRESSIVE Peterborough Sports cruised into the third round of the FA Trophy with a ruthless display of finishing to unhinge Southern Premier Central rivals Hitchin.

Sports took just eight minutes to break the deadlock – a poor clearance by Hitchin goalkeeper Charles Horlock found Lewis Hilliard unmarked on the right flank and he ran in unchallenged and found the top left corner with a crisp shot.
