SO, Stockport County’s gallant FA Cup run ended with a slender 1-0 defeat to Premier League giants West Ham on Monday night.
But it was wonderful to see County go toe-totoe with the Hammers for 83 minutes of a closely- fought match.
As we know, the game was shown live on BT Sport and proved a wonderful advertisement for Non-League football.
Well done Jim Gannon and his men, you made us fans very proud.
