EAST Hull will not only be changing their name for next season but will also have a new home.
FC Humber United will become tenants of North East Counties Division One rivals Selby Town’s Fairfax Plant Hire Stadium – albeit 38 miles from home.
Bemoaning a lack of potential home venues in the city of Hull, Chairman Richard Smales said: “We set out with the task to locate a suitable ground in Hull and, following months of wasted conversations, negotiations and simply astonishing responses, it left us with no option but to look outside the city.
