Time to pick up a Bootham bargain at York City

Red plastic seating, goalposts, dugouts and floodlights have been placed on sale with clubs up and down the country taking advantage of the initiative to improve their ground grading in the off season.

YORK CITY have begun dissembling items from their former Bootham Crescent ground to sell on.

The club’s floodlights, originally from Manchester United’s Training Ground, are one of the key items still for sale and would provide Football League standard lighting for any potential purchaser.
