Chorley sign Andy Owens as captain commits to another year

The 31-year-old linked up with the National League North Magpies from Radcliffe back in December.

Chorley sign

CHORLEY have signed forward Andy Owens following an impressive spell on dual-registration at the club.

The 31-year-old linked up with the National League North Magpies from Radcliffe back in December.

And Owens, the former AFC Telford United, Southport and Altrincham man said: “I think in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve shown what I can do, and the way we play will hopefully allow me to showcase that a lot more next season.”

Meanwhile, captain Scott Leather says “it was a pretty easy decision” to commit to a sixth season with the Magpies next year.
