Alfie Tate departs from Blackstones

THE youngest manager in history has parted company outfit after just three games in charge, none of them competitive.

Alfie Tate, now 21, set the record when he took charge of in their 4-0 extra preliminary round defeat by last September.

In June, he was given the top job at -based Division One side Blackstones after Mark Baines quit.

His first game in charge, a 9-0 defeat by Stamford in the Jeremy Biggs memorial match was followed by a 3-2 pre-season win at and then a 3-1 home defeat to Peterborough League Premier Division side Stamford Bels last weekend.

Tate has been replaced by former boss Ryan Hunnings.
