NORTHERN League chairman Glenn Youngman believes supporters and volunteers have ensured their members clubs remain “as strong as ever” during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It has been a challenging 18 months for Non-League clubs around the country as the financial and practical pressures have been intensified by the impact of the pandemic.
Some sense of normality returned this weekend when the Northern League season got underway, and supporters were able to return to competitive games for the first time in just under a year.
