■ A FIFTH straight win in the League kept Workington clear at the top.
The Cumbrians were without eight senior players through injury and suffered a further two set-backs during the game. They had taken the lead on 23 minutes with a superb 30-yard free kick from Dav Symington.
Reds doubled their lead from the spot on 67 minutes after Ruben Jerome went down in the box and Rowan Roache stroked home the penalty.
