HELLENIC Premier side Bishop’s Cleeve are celebrating after getting the final piece in the funding jigsaw for their new £850,000 3G pitch at Kayte Lane.
After the Football Foundation awarded a grant of nearly £522,000, and 430 fans raised £23,000, Tewkesbury Borough Council have come on board with of £57,000.
Earlier this year, England manager Gareth Southgate donated a signed England shirt copy of his book Anything Is Possible to help raise the essential funding, and former Manchester United star Lee Sharpe added his weight by presenting a promotional online...
