■ A GAME of three penalties, two scored in each half, and one saved, gave Bridlington Town their first win of the season against a strong Shildon side.
Lewis Dennison scored a last-minute winner from a swift counter-attack to give Town the points shortly after Hitchcock pulled off a fine save for the visitors’ second penalty of the game to give the 251 in attendance an exciting final 15 minutes.
But try as they might the visitors failed to find a breakthrough as Bridlington held on for a much-needed win.
