DEREHAM gained a point from a hard-fought match.
In the 11th minute Dereham produced a fluid move with Adam Hipperson turning well and finding Logan who fired over from 22 yards.
As the pressure continued Logan curled a freekick which dipped just over the top.
Basildon missed a good chance in the 27th minute when Dasaulo allowed Fahd Nyanja too much time and space but he dragged his shot wide from close range.
