PLAY-OFF placed Didcot travelled to Kempston looking to cement their place in the top five, whereas the hosts were looking to make it two home wins on the bounce.
The visitors started the better side and had a good chances to open the lead from the spot on the half-hour mark, but Michael Hudson in the Rovers net guessed correctly.
The momentum swung and Rovers took the lead through Harry Stratton, anticipating well following a fumble from the Didcot goalkeeper.
