NEW BOSS: Brian Richardson

FC UNITED of Manchester assistant Brian Richardson has been appointed new manager of Bootle.
Previous boss Joe Doran resigned last month before the Northern Premier Division One West club played the Rebels in the FA Cup.a
The Bucks were promoted to Step 4 from the North West Counties League in the summer after the FA’s decision to press ahead with the pyramid restructure.
But Doran departed feeling he had give all he could to a club he has a long association with.
