FELIPE Barcelos provided an assist and a goal as Highworth Town saw off visitors Mangotsfield United.
But the home side also had plenty to thank goalkeeper Connor Johns for.
A seventh-minute effort from the in-form Harrison Edwards – after a fine pass from Barcelos – got Highworth off to the ideal start to the afternoon.
The visitors could have been level minutes later but a shot from Kray Foster was well saved by Johns in the Highworth goal.
