Former Premier League ref Keith Hackett named new president of NCEFL

FORMER Premier League referee Keith Hackett has been named as the new president of the Northern Counties East League.

FORMER Premier League referee Keith Hackett has been named as the new president of the Northern Counties East League.

Hackett, who in 2004 became general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Board, replaces Howard Webb who has stood down after 10 years in the role.
In recent times, Hackett has been president of member club Penistone Church.
