GISSA LIFT! Longlevens after being stranded on the motorway

LONGLEVENS must have felt relieved when the draw for the first-round proper of the FA Vase gave them a home tie against Shaftesbury.
It meant that they wouldn’t be spending long hours on a motorway which was the case last Sunday when their second qualifying round tie at Sandhurst got under way 105 minutes late after the clutch of their coach blew up just past Membury Services.
