ENFIELD could afford penalty profligacy and still consign bottom club Leatherhead to their eight defeat in ten games.
But home fans thought the Es fortunate to still have eleven men for the last hour after an ugly high tackle by Scott Thomas only drew a yellow card from the referee’s pocket.
Enfield’s Mo Faal was through on goal after 10 minutes but was denied by Tanners keeper Myles Bowman.
A minute later, Faal spurned a better chance when he fired a penalty wide.
But he won a second spot-kick opportunity himself on 29 minutes....
