JOINT boss Marcus Bignot saw his Guiseley side edge out of the FA Cup by League One AFC Wimbledon – but then praised the Lions’ tenacity after a rocky few weeks effected by coronavirus at the club.
Three tiers separate the two sides but Bignot’s men more than matched their hosts and Guiseley were unlucky to go behind courtesy of Ollie Palmer’s strike just before the break.
