THERE may still be a twist to this tie, after referee, Ben Cooke, abandoned the match between Bedford Town and Potters Bar Town two minutes into injury time, with three minutes still to play.
The Eagles, 1-0 down and also with only tenmen on the field, had been pressing their Step 3 opponents in the later stages, as the game turned uglier and uglier, before a mass brawl between players and bench officials prompted the abandonment.
