STALYBRIDGE WON 5-3 ON PENS
A REMARKABLE comeback from a seemingly hopeless position saw Stalybridge sneak through to the second round of the Trophy and break Bootle hearts in the process.
A largely uneventful first half was dominated by the visitors and they were good value for their half-time lead, given to them by debutant Hayden Campbell’s crisp left foot volley on 28 minutes.
