TAMWORTH edged their way through to the next round of the FA Trophy in a close fought contest against Colne but had to endure the nail-biting finale of penalties.
Despite their lower league standing, Colne did not display an inferiority complex and took the game to the visitors from the kick off. It took an instinctive save by Lambs keeper Jasbir Singh after only four minutes to keep the ball out of his net as Reece Webb-Foster struck a low goal-bound shot through a crowded Tamworth goalmouth.
