MORPETH Town held their nerve to beat Bromsgrove via a penalty shootout after a drab affair at the Victoria Ground.
After a goalless 90 minutes, the visitors’ goalkeeper Dan Lowson scored the shoot-out’s decisive penalty to send the Highwaymen back to Morpeth victorious.
The lively Jack Foalle had a couple of opportunities inside the first half an hour but was unable to make the most of them for the away side.
