FOLKESTONE survived a close encounter in which all three goals came before half-time.
Kieron McCann opened the scoring in the sixth minute when he swept in Ronnie Dolan’s low ball from the left.
Faversham went close when D’Jean Spencer rounded Invicta keeper Tim Roberts, but Tyrell Richardson-Brown’s shot was cleared off the line by Matt Newman.
But Faversham keeper Luke Watkins made several good saves to deny Dolan, Paxman, Ade Yusuff and substitute Ian Draycott, and Scott Heard fired a good chance over.
