HARRY Rush’s second-minute goal made Hanwell history as Town reached the second round of the FA Trophy for the first time.
Rush finished off a move started by keeper Hugo Soble, netting from close range after Tomasz Siemienczuk’s header came back off the post.
Town went close again a couple of minutes later when Adam Laaref turned his man and fired across the face of the goal.
This seemed to wake up the visitors.
And Kavan Cottar looked certain to score before star man Sobte stuck out a boot to turn the ball wide.
