WIMBORNE put in a dogged display against the Seagulls to progress against their hosts.
Dayle Grubb, Prince Henry, Nick McCootie and Alfie Moulden all had opportunities for the Seagulls, with Lewis Beale and Regan Henry going close down the other end for Wimborne.
Wimborne took the lead against the run of play when Harry Morgan’s corner into the middle was met by Mark Jamison, whose header six yards out into the ground bounced into Harris’ corner.
