■SLOUGH progressed to the third round after a gritty victory over 10-man Havant & Waterlooville at Arbour Park.
The game turned on a 30th-minute incident when Havant’s Paul Rooney was sent off for pulling Aaron Kuhl and the Rebels midfielder – after previously scoring a penalty against the Hawks in the National League South – stepped up to beat Will Mannion from the spot.
Havant responded well, with a fierce strike from Tom Wright being deflected onto the outside of the post.
