SHAUN JEFFERS netted a hat-trick as St Albans City dispatched league rivals Oxford City.
His first came as he won the ball on the edge of the box, his effort taking a wicked deflection past the helpless Ben Dudzinski. Josh Ashby came close to levelling with a free-kick that just brushed the post.
Jeffers doubled his tally as he was found at the far post by Romeo Akinola, leaving him with a sidefoot into the net.
