■ A DRAMATIC finish at the Moatside with two goals in the last two minutes salvaged a point for Merstham, but East Thurrock will be kicking themselves for letting three points slip away. Merstham started well but squandered a host of early chances to open the scoring, as John Ufuah and Korrey Henry took the ball past the keeper but couldn’t finish.
Against the run of play, United took the lead on 36 minutes, when Merstham keeper Toby Bull came for a free-kick, but Callum Robinson got there first and headed into an empty net.
