Rebels roused to lead by five

WORTHING stretched their league lead to five points, with two late first-half goals from Ollie Pearce and Danny Barker sealing victory over their Kent visitors.
Chances were at a premium in a cagey first quarter until the Rebels began to dominate proceedings.
And they led in the 32nd minute when Jesse Starkey found Reece Myles-Meekums down the left of the area and he laid the ball across for Pearce to stroke home his 16th goal of the season.
