BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent took a much needed three points from this proverbial relegation six-pointer, thanks to their first win in 14 games.
The Rs’ win in a tight affair left struggling Leatherhead three points adrift at the bottom of the table.
But the Essex outfit would have ended the day bottom themselves had they lost.
The R’s took the lead after 36 minutes when a superb through ball found Dom Locke down the right.
His effort was well saved by Tanners glovesman Harry Cawdron but the rebound fell to Carlos Cachicote da Rocha...
