A 70TH-MINUTE goal from striker David Smith was enough to give Folkestone Invicta all three points against ten men Wingate & Finchley.
Smith was there to follow up when striking partner Ade Yusuff got an initial shot in from the right-hand side of the penalty area that visiting goalkeeper and captain Ben Goode saved.
The only goal of the game came soon after the visitors were reduced to ten men when central defender Dexter Peter was shown a straight red card by referee Rhys Battye for an elbow on Smith.
