■IT’S CONGRATULATIONS to New Salamis who are confirmed Premier Division champions winning 2-0 at their closest rivals Risborough Rangers on a dramatic final day showdown.
After a goalless first half, Salamis broke the deadlock through JJ Cruz from a 60th minute corner before Elijah Ogunseye sealed it. Risborough revealed late last night that an appeal to the FA over ground-grading had failed and that they couldn’t go up.
