A GOAL two minutes before half-time opened the floodgates for Charnock Richard to scamper away with the North West Counties Football League Cup.
Danny Regan’s crisp, low 20-yard strike found the bottom far corner of Nathan Davidson’s net at Chorley’s Victory Park, setting in motion his side’s 5-0 win over Cammell Laird.
It was one-way traffic after the interval, Spencer Bibby firing in six minutes after the restart having been fed by Brad Carsley.
