NEW co-boss Neal Bishop says it is a “huge honour and a privilege” to take over the manager’s reigns at Gainsborough Trinity, alongside Damon Parkinson.
The pair have stepped up from within the NPL Premier club following the departure of Tom Shaw, who had re-built a squad with an average age of just 21.
Bishop, 40, played more than 40 times for the Holy Blues last season at the end of a stellar career in the professional game tat the likes of Mansfield Town, Scunthorpe United, Notts County, York and Scarborough.
