CLUBS REJECT FIVE SUB MOTION

A PROPOSAL for Step 1 clubs to be allowed to use five substitutes from a bench of six named players was defeated at yesterday’s National League AGM.
The motion was turned down despite voting being 15-9 in favour because the threshold to pass is 18.
Gloucester City co-chairman Alex Petheram was voted onto the board as the National League North representative. Gateshead’s Sonia Kulkarni steps up to fill the place left by Stockport County’s Richard Simkin.
