GARY Johnson says Torquay won’t be signing Harry Kane this summer, which probably won’t come as a revelation to Gulls fans.
Yet the point he is trying to illustrate stands. At Plainmoor, the finished article is crafted, not bought.
“We can’t take players who have already cracked it,” says the 66-year-old, a veteran of 36 years in the dugout.
