FORMER Newcastle United goalkeeper Rob Elliot is relishing his new role at Gateshead after being named as the National League club’s first ever technical director.
The four-times capped Republic of Ireland stopper will working alongside former Magpies teammate and current Heed player-manager Mike Williamson at the International Stadium after his appointment was confirmed on Thursday afternoon.
