Russ Penn’s National League North side were seconds away from claiming a famous fourth round scalp last season before England international Declan Rice forced extra-time, and Jarrod Bowen tapped in a last minute winner.
Now the Step 3 Lambs will be aiming to halt another romantic run before it has even started. There are 80 second round qualifying ties in total as the Step 2 sides enter the competition.
